HLS is a web based solution for managing inventory and monitoring logistics. Integration with existing warehouse and hospital management systems coupled with extensive and easily updated product catalogues means you will be able to reduce time wasted manually inventorying and ordering. The fleet activity map, courier reports and job status screens will also allow you to easily monitor the performance of courier service providers, your own drivers and the progression of hospital orders in real time.

Hospital cross docking

Eevery supplier’s time of arrival at the hospital will be logged by the HLS solution (or off-site warehouse)
All supplier delivery discrepancies logged.

A delivery tracking label will be automatically generated and then attached to each parcel.

Real time “on line” proof of time vehicle left warehouse and time delivered to hospital.

Hospital off-site storage

Simple on site hospital ordering system design approved by senior NHS Directors, which can be easily integrated with existing warehouse management software to allow for automatic reordering from the hospital Materials Management team.
Live inventory catalogue and quantity link into hospital Materials Management team ordering system.
Trust agree off-site warehouse product storage catalogue and upload into HLS.
HLS hospital catalogue includes supplier codes, supplier names, supplier product codes/descriptions, e-class code, budget expenditure code, unit of issue, unit of purchase & price per unit.

Materials Management – Off-site warehouse order call off

The hospital Trust team define what strategic/Theatre or bulk price break products they wish to store off site and set up catalogue with BDL.
Materials Management team with dedicated individual logins to the HLS ordering system.
Team select hospital requisition point department.
Products selected from live catalogue & quantity selected.
Orders tracked from point of placement to final delivery at hospital department.
Electronic signatures on PDA all available to view “on line”

Hospital internal FM goods delivery

Intelligent back office tools to manage staff shift patterns, shift schedules, resource details and vehicle details.

This unique hospital requisition point “recharge report” was designed in conjunction with the North Bristol NHS Trust Procurement and Finance Directors and defines every hospital order, supplier, product and pricing for every hospital ward/department.
Number of hospital strategic/Theatre or bulk price break orders placed at the off-site warehouse.
